Earlier this year I began investing in a culture project that I created with SwaggySolezofficial owner Michael Rosa! I made one sneaker project a few years ago and I knew I wanted to revisit the world of kicks. Michael reached out to me with a vision of creating visual material to help promote what life is like for a sneaker head. I took that initial thought and developed it into a conversation. This is a sneak peak of a sneaker series we're calling "Solez & Swagg" -Dante Luna, filmmaker/photographer

As a 34 year old I finally bought me some PF Flyers. And I now run faster and jump higher than anyone I work with
I didn't know PF Flyers were real shoes. I thought they were a fictional place in, because the movie couldn't afford to use Converse All-stars.

As a kid in 2014 I wanted those shoes 👟 Everyone else in my class didn’t even knew what PF Flyers was
When I went to get new Shoes for 8th Grade back in 2014, my WSS somehow had P.F. Flyers, and the 1993 All Black for $40 USD. At first, it was very tight (doi, they're freshly new), but I immediately fell in Love with them. My Homeroom (heck, the whole school) sorta went nuts when they saw my P.F. Flyers. 2023 as a 23YO, I still wear these, they're epic. My only Issue is the Quality Control. Last time I got some for $85, the Soles fell apart in a few Months. I recently got and currently am wearing the 1993 Limited Edition on their Official Website. Hopefully, they last long. I adore these a lot.

Listen, I certainly agree with a lot of what your saying. Sadly a man died under the watch of several police officers and this movement I believe is making changes finally. Enough is enough. But the fact that you got looted and you feel that it’s over a loss of life? This is a criminal element that has come into our community. My store also was looted, and we were lucky because I knew it was coming and I was prepared. But this is an organized group of thieves. They dishonored the name of George Floyd and any other member of the black community whom they were fighting for.

Looked you up because I just saw this on the news. Sorry for that loss of merchandise and just the violation of being broken into. You've handled it all very well. I so want to see more Latino shop owners like you. I do feel that we Latinos all (I'm a Nuyorican) are people of color too. We identify with being discriminated one way or another at times. I've had about half a dozen pairs of chucks and I just got my first of flyers today and not only was it about the same price if not slightly cheaper but they are built way better, they make my chucks look and feel like the walmart version of chucks, now are the of flyers better than the chuck 70s which are more like how converse used to be made? Probably not(although I never owned a pair of 70s) but the chuck 70s are something like 40% or so more expensive so overall really impressive and if these wear as good as I think in the long run then this might be my new go to
